Here is a great article from NPR that outlines how an innovation emanating from Farmers Markets and people working directly on healthy food access took hold in the 2014 Farm Bill – including our very own homegrown project “Double Up Food Bucks” spearheaded by the Fair Food Network, a project that has had immense success in Michigan and greatly helped to influence the creation of the new Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentives (FINI) Program.
